Brashear Baseball vs Schuyler County May 8, 2018

The Brashear baseball team hosted Schuyler County Tuesday
night. Schuyler County got on the board with a pair of runs
in the top of the 1st before Brashear pulled off a 4-6-3
double play to limit the damage and get out of the inning.
Brashear answered with 3 runs in the bottom of the 1st
to take a 3-2 lead. That would be the Tigers last lead as 
Schuyler County scored 7 in the 2nd and continued to 
outscore Brashear to claim a 19-9 win. Garrett Housman had
4 hits for Brashear, Zane Sykes had 3, Quin Allen had 2, and
Brhet Place, Aden Zentz, John Gerhold, and Austin Peterson
also had hits. Colton Sayre got the start for Brashear.

In the JV game, Brashear led 3-2 after one inning and 6-2
after 2 innings, but Schuyler County outscored Brashear in
the late going to win 12-11. Levi Blankenship had 2 hits for
Brashear with 10 others also having hits. Garrett Housman
got the start with Quin Allen, Levi Blankenship, and Cody
Mallett pitching in relief.
